hey CG lovers,
I know I'm sorry i have been gone far too long, but in my defense i have been working to get you all excited!!;) am I off the hook??
I am back in Houston, TX and could not be happier to be home. a couple of days ago i met up with one of our designers and let me tell you, she is doing an amazing job with our new creations.
a couple of weeks ago, it was Houston Her moment, an African American Lesbian Pride weekend. we decided to set up shop at one of the events, and I most say it was a success and a really nice day. Met a lot of very cool interesting people, and got a chance to share some CG love! what more could we have asked for?? Im going to do my best and do better with keeping you up to date with whats happening around here! until next time!

HAPPY 2014!!

Hey there CG lovers!!!!
happy new year!!!hope you all had a safe and fun new year's eve. I personally had some me time at home. it was very relaxing,drank some good italian wine (yup im still in Italy) and made a new painting inspired from a picture of Cedella Marley, the late and great Bob Marley's daughter!

But let me tell you all about my christmas break!!!I LOVED IT!!!!:) I went to Israel which is by far one of my favorite places to go to. and doesn't hurt that some of my favorite people also live there!! unfortunately i only had a few days to spend there, but they were awesome.
i had christmas lunch with my ffl (that is a self given title from her to well...her lol but its well deserved..she is definitely a friend for life) and enjoyed the rest of the day with my favorite blonde ( who by the way is now a brunette/ red head).I didn't get any physical gifts but just being able to be with them was more than i could have ever asked. I am very protective of my friends and i value friendship a lot!and seeing how much they cared for me and feeling the love i felt was by far the best Christmas gift i could have ever received. Obviously going out and partying like we know how had a lot to do with the fun of it!!!!!!
its back to work now tho and i have a few surprises up my sleeve. We are working on a collaboration with a few great designers, and i cant wait to share with you all!!!! everyone have a great 2014!!!!

I LOVE MILAN!!

Hello there CG lovers!!
hope your holidays are going exactly how you wish them to!!!
as far as im concerned, Italy is doing me quite well.
I was in Milan this past weekend and i could not wait to come back and share with you guys!Milan is by far one of my favorite cities out here right along with Rome!!( ill make sure to share that next!)
i only had a full day in Milan, which as you would expect i very diligently spent shopping!!!
The Duomo its breathtaking and no matter how many times i have seen it, i cant help but take pictures of it every single time!at least this time i have you to show it to!!!:)

The shopping strip by the Duomo is just great, especially during the holidays. The giant Christmas tree was up (even though i did not quite appreciate that as much since it was a commercial stunt for a shipping company...blah).

it also looked like the city was getting ready for a world wide fair of some sort, so the shopping strip was side lined by flags from all over the world!
while walking around i could not help but stop and grab an hand-full of my favorite winter treat! roasted hazelnuts. New York has the cart hotdogs, Milan has the cart hazelnut ( they win on health benefit!).
When in Milan i like to walk but even more i love to take the metro, not quite sure why, since it can be really crowded, or like on saturday be on strike for a good part of the day. my shopping was not as fulfilling as i wished it to be...being six feet with wide shoulders makes it pretty hard to fit into anything...but everyone can fit nice scarfs and purses and accessories!!!:)

I enjoyed Milan but unfortunately my time there was limited. when it came time to get ready to go back to Ragusa, a little twist to my trip happened. i dont know if you guys know this but in Sicily near my city there is an active volcano, mount Etna and well it erupted canceling a lot of the flights back and in my case delaying it. but i made it back safely and everything is okay!!!!

Ciao from Italy

hello there CG lovers!
hope all of you guys had a great thanksgiving with your families, took advantage of our black friday discounts and will be ready for cyber monday!!!:)
Me on the other hand, i have been flying across the ocean to come to Sicily Italy, more specifically Ragusa!i missed out on thanks giving, but i had an awesome friends-giving with some awesome friends!
 i must admit i do not know much about Sicily, even tho i am Italian, i spent my time on the northern parts of the country so this few months out here will be of discovery! and i will be very happy to share with you all what this beautiful region has to offer!
what i can attest to so far is that the food is AMAZING!!!i definitely need to start taking pictures of the meals!some i might just cook my self!!!
wow i almost forgot!before i left Texas to come here to Italy i had an amazing photo shoot, you guys will soon see it, but i want to share some of the back stage shots with you all!!!
wow i am so NOT  a model...ill work on that tho!!:) bare with me here!

 
 


it was definitely a great fun experience, and of course being surrounded by people that are awesome at what they do didn't hurt either!!!
cant wait for all of it to come together!!!

One more week in America

Hey guys!

I don't know if I ever told you guys but I will be headed to Italy at the end of the month! Hope you are ready to soak up every little bit of the culture I will try and share with you all. I was born and raised in Italy,but I never  lived in Sicily before. Everything will be new for me as it will be for you!

I'm also very excited to find out what fashionable artsy ideas Italy will inspire. 

The spring line it's in it's beginner stage and I can't wait to reveal it to you all!
